Leadership from a different perspective – Neil Mitchell on Paint Pots!

Please never let it be said that I am unscientific – I actually did as Neil suggested…

If you have a pot of white paint (positive!) and you drop a teaspoonful of black paint into it, after a stir it will forever be grey.  Will never been white again….

 If you have a pot of black paint (negative) and you drop a teaspoonful of while paint into it….. After a stir it will be black… pitch black.

So why is it, that if I have a conversation with a colleague or in this example my wife and I say “You look wonderful, love what you did with your hair!  That dress you are wearing matches your eyes; it was like the dress was made just for you.  Oh and you may want to check the mirror it looks like you smudged you eyeliner a bit” does she look so glum.  The answer is in the Paint Pots….
