Words have power – positive or negative.

But, but, no, I’m always getting people’s names wrong, should I try something different? I will if I can.
Love the ‘and’ and not the ‘but’. But then again…
But is still a worthwhile word and doesn’t necessarily have a negative connotation.
When you say something to someone like ‘I like your work, but…’
If you said it differently, ie, ‘I like your work, and…’
The two have completely different meanings.
One suggests you are about to throw in a drawback.
The other suggests you not only like the work you are going to offer them something.
Just a thought.
Just go with the concept. It can be done and but does have a negative suggestion about it.
I like will and can. They are ‘do’ words as opposed to try.
Those who try and don’t succeed aren’t trying hard enough.
It’s a great way of looking at things. Change the meaning of what you say and it can mean so much more.
