The Moment in your life, when you had your whole life in front of you…

Naked Leader Week – 173 (w/c Monday 11 September 2006)

The Moment in your life, when you had your whole life in front of you…

When we look at new born babies we often say to ourselves, or out loud, “Isn’t it wonderful, they have their whole life ahead of them.”

Well, so do you, whoever you are, wherever you are, and whatever your age.

Right now.

Whatever your age.

Perhaps you think about yourself as ‘middle-age’.

How do you know?

We have no idea whatsoever when the ‘middle’ is happening. Out of 130 million babies born each year worldwide, 4 million survive for less than four weeks. So, for two million people each year, their middle-age was fourteen days old.

There is only one thing certain about your life, and that is that one day you are going to stop breathing, and die. Of course you know this with your left brain; you may have completed your wills, taken out your life insurance, planned ahead.

Please read the story of what happened to the Hanson family below, five years ago on this very day, and as you do, think about that one action, that one idea, that one thing that you have been meaning to do or say for a long time – and do it now, today.

With love

David
