Many of us, and our organisations, will have big plans for 2020, indeed for the next decade.

And many of us, and our organisations, will make our biggest decisions in a single moment.

Think about the really important things in your life – your family, your career, your achievements – you can probably remember back to that single moment when you made a decision about what you wanted and what you were going to do – marry someone, join or start your company, get fit etc.

So yes, this year, this millennium, plan, research, strategize – and never ignore your spontaneous, instinctive gut feel.

For it is in those emotional moments that all of our learnings, experience and imagination come together.
