Every time you take action, you have already made…

A True Decision

It suddenly dawned on me the other day – people write to me every week saying how difficult it is to make a True Decision (that is, a decision in which they decide what they want, cut off all other possible results, and take a first action to achieve it)

And yet you and I, and everyone, are making them all the time

People who say they would really like to stop smoking, and continue to smoke, have made a True Decision to smoke – at a subconscious level perhaps, however as long as they smoke, that is the True Decision they have made, like it or not

People who say they would really like to be more loving towards their partner, yet continue to blame him or her for the relationship not working, have made a True Decision not to take ownership – at a subconscious level perhaps, however until they behave otherwise, that is the True Decision they have made, like it or not

Just as much as people who have decided to make a change in their life, for the positive, or help another to do the same and they actually do something about it.

Because it is never what you think or what you say that determines whether you are True to your Decisions, and to yourself, it is always what you do.
