Leadership from a different perspective – Marianne Williamson
Just one week to go before we begin the pre-launch of the new www.nakedleader.com
The launch pad for a million dreams, the first personalised, leadership metanet, and truly leadership from a different perspective – yours.
You may recall that this was put on hold while we all remember the Tsunami victims, indeed, everyone in the world who needs our help. This new ‘world awareness’ will be at the very heart of the new metanet. The compassion, care and giving in the world over the last month have made me realise how much goodness there is in the world, and how, when these forces awaken, we can truly leave the world a better place for our next generation. Sentiments summed up by Marianne Williamson:
Our deepest fear is not…
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people will not feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not in just some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others.
Marianne Williamson, Return to Love
These are often mis-attributed to Nelson Mandela who, contrary to internet legend, did not use the quote in his inaugural address.
Soon you will be recognised as a force for good
Soon you will connect with other such powers
Soon, the world of goodness will rise again
With love to you
