Read this to remove your fear of failure…

You and I don’t fear ‘failure’ – we fail all the time, we get things wrong every day, it is very familiar to us.

What we fear is the idea of something going wrong, and this alone is the main thing that stops us doing that something – not because we can’t do it, because we fear what might go wrong if we do.

And this fear exists entirely in our minds – how can it not? – the only way to know if something ‘works’ is to actually do it. The power of the mind to help us is without limit, just as the power of the mind to hinder us, is without limit.

Health Warning!!!

Reading on from here will not only prove that the fear of failure exists entirely in your mind, it will bring you a sense of calm, peace and relaxation you may not have felt in years. Only read on if that is what you want, because that is what will happen.

Please bring to your mind a fear/worry/concern that you have – it may be about something you have to do, something you have done, or anything you want. Bring it to the forefront of your mind right now.

And, do you notice something? As you read this, wherever you are right now, it may well be that fear is reducing, calming and dissolving altogether.

Your breathing is deeper, your pulse has slowed and you are more aware of what is going on around you.

That’s right.

Very good.

Welcome home.

  1. Also other people can give you fears of failure that you didn’t have. If you share something you are going to do, you find people saying but what about if this or that happens, and it can put you off.
I like to say but what if this or that doesn’t happen, I’m doing it anyway.

  2. A gree, never be put off by the doomsayers. Go and get what you want and don’t let other people’s jealousy stop that.

  3. Definitely don’t put something off when it needs to be done.
Just go straight in and get it done and the fear dissipates.
Like doing a Tax Return, yo don’t necessarily enjoy it but you know it has to be done and the sooner the better to stop it weighing on the mind.

  4. Thank you all – with Mindfulness being so ‘in’ this was less of a risky nl week than it might have been a few years ago. The ideas in this NL Week are based on a new sub-conscious language I am developing for my next book – ‘The nine words that will change your life forever’ in which people don’t have to ‘do’ anything to be at peace, calm and relaxed, they simply read and it happens automatically…David x
