And the more you know about how they did it, the better

On Saturday 8 February, in a top of The Premiership football clash, Liverpool beat Arsenal 5-1

Liverpool were 3 up in 15 minutes, 4 up in 20

Their overall tactics were simple (not easy) attack Arsenal in their own half – disrupt their flowing football, and attack fast and in numbers

It paid off

Fast forward 6 weeks – Saturday 22 March

Chelsea v Arsenal – another top of the table clash, between two local and bitter rivals, and on this occasion, Arsene Wenger’s 1,000 game in charge of Arsenal (by the way, an extraordinary achievement)

Chelsea won 6-0

They were 3-0 up in 20 minutes

How did they do it?

They did what Liverpool did – they watched, studied and dissected a video of what Liverpool had done just a few weeks before.

So:

What area of your organisation is doing really well – go ask them how they did it – and do what they did
