PEOPLE buy from people. So take time to get to know the person in front of you when you are selling. They will make the decision. To buy from you they must trust and respect you. To buy lots from you they must also like you. End of story.

I agree it's about the person you are buying from. You have to like them. I bought insurance once of a woman I liked the look of. Her eyes sold me the product!
Sometimes on Dragons Den it is proved that they like the product and generally buy a good one regardless of the people. The people who haven't got a decent product sometimes get a look in with the dragons if they make some sort of personal impression. Some of the time the businessmen and women get offered jobs without the product being involved purely because they like the individual. That says a lot about people buying from people.
