BREAK free from seeking the approval of others. You will never become a well-respected person and brand without detractors, and these people may be very vocal in their opposition to you. You need that; you need these people talking about you, having a go at what you have done, often complete strangers to you, to get known, create debate, and change things.

I met with David in a work context in December 2010.
He assured me I was a very funny man – praise indeed, and positioned a thought in my mind that I should take to the stage as a stand up comedian.
Jan 29th 2013 I started a comedy workshop at my local arts centre whih will culminate in a sold out gig on the 2nd March to 90 people.
Know where you want to go.
Know where you are now.
Know what you need to do to get there.
Do it.
If I only ever do one performance, this framework will have helped me reach one of my life goals. Maybe 2 years later than planned – but it’s happening.
