SPEND time with your children – when they want to spend time with you. It is gold-dust time, so do not be too busy or you will regret it when they have grown up and leave home – and grow up they will.
Watch their choice of programme on TV with them, and watch is positively without judgement.

Never has a truer word been spoken. There are so many people I know who regret the hours they put in without seeing their children grow up.
I prefer to be remembered by my kids and will always try and make time for them. Not always an easy task but one I try to make sure I make happen. Every day you don’t do something with them, you will never get that day back again.
I agree, although you have to have your own life too. Don’t forget to enjoy that!
