At Woking rail station, the sign warns: ‘Trips and falls make up over half of all accidents at our stations.’

Which begs the question – what on earth is in the other half?

No-one seems able to tell me – so my best guesses are lift injuries, heroic leaps for closing train doors, suitcase jousting, impromptu fainting, and the occasional commuter fencing duel over the last seat
