You either do something, or you don’t – two options – binary

You actually do something – That gets a 1

You think and talk about or plan doing something, and don’t  – That gets a 0

I think people will tend to judge their own success by what they intend to do – logically, that’s a 0

And we tend to judge others by what they have actually done – logically, that’s a 1
